
You’ve applied and been accepted to King College. Now what? Below is a step-by-step guide for you to follow.
You will receive your Acceptance Kit in the mail. It will contain all the forms you need to become a King College student and live on campus. Simply complete the packet and return all forms with your deposit ($250 for residents or $200 for commuters). Your deposit guarantees your place in the incoming class, a laptop computer, and a residence hall room!
If you’ve not been to King College, a campus visit is a great way to see for yourself what King has to offer. You're always welcome at King College! Contact the Office of Admissions at 800.362.0014 to schedule a visit.
King Days are designed for students who have been accepted at King. The faculty is available to provide insight into your major and help you arrange your fall class schedule. If you are unsure of your major, your advisors will help you determine a schedule to meet the core requirements while exploring courses that you are interested in pursuing. Meet with representatives from financial aid, residence life, and the business office who will be able to answer any questions you may have. You’ll also have a chance to tour campus, visit a residence hall room, learn about student activities, employment on campus, browse the bookstore, pick up your student ID card, and get your King College e-mail address. By attending an Access King Day, you’ll be able to hit the ground running when you move to campus. They’ll help you check in to your residence hall and walk you through the NSOC schedule. After you move into your residence hall, you’ll participate in a weekend of fun-filled activities designed to help you get to know your fellow King College students. You’ll make friends and feel right at home at King. NSOC is just the beginning of the fun you will have at King College. Our Student Life and Activity Committee at King, better known as S.L.A.C.K., ensures that you never have a dull moment at King College by organizing creative, affordable, and community-building events. It’s time to start your academic career at King College! Fall 2008 classes begin on Wednesday, Aug. 20. Within your first month of starting class at King College, you’ll travel to Washington, D.C., along with all first year students. The “Experience D.C.” trip offers more than just a tour of the city. Faculty and staff lead tracs to expose you to a variety of career and vocational options with different fields of study. Tracs are developed around your potential college majors and interests so you can gain insight into your possible career choices. Faculty and staff members will integrate discussions and debates while you experience the Washington, D.C., sites.
