Student Employment is funded from federal and institutional resources. This program allows students to earn money by working part-time thru the Federal Work Student Program (FWS). The exact earning potential depends upon the number of hours worked (not to exceed $1,740.00 per school year). The pay rate is currently minimum wage ($7.25 per hour, effective 7/25/09) and student workers are paid once a month based on the hours they work.
Please keep in mind these earnings do not go directly towards the student's account to pay tuition/fees. Tuition and fees must be paid before the start of classes each semester.
